Homeopathy is also based on three main principles:
- The law of similars: the principle that a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can cure those same symptoms in a sick person.
- The law of minimum dose: the principle that the lowest effective dose should be used to avoid undesirable side effects.
- Patient individuality: the principle that each patient is unique and should be treated according to their individual needs.
In comparison, conventional medicine relies on science and research to understand diseases and develop treatments. It uses drugs and therapies that have been proven effective through clinical studies and scientific testing. Conventional medicine also focuses on alleviating the symptoms and curing the disease, while homeopathy focuses on treating the whole person.
